As part of the Festival for Good, join us for an afternoon of hands-on workshops with makers and crafters in Singapore and add some unique artisanal products from the marketplace to your wardrobe!

Be part of the slow fashion movement and discover sustainable alternatives from natural dye to upcycling! Limited spots available!

All workshops will be held in two sessions 11-1pm and 2-4pm. Chose your tickets as per your convenience.

Workshop 1 - Patch and repair with Agy Textile Artist & Momshoo

Sew Easy Mending Sampler

Do you have a tear on your clothing but don't want to throw the garment away? Join Agy Textile Artist and Momshoo as they share patching and darning techniques to beautify those little boo boos away.

Participants get to take home their own mending sampler to hang up and use as reference for future garment repairs. Remember, mending is trending!


Workshop 2 - Make a pouch with textile waste with Adel

Upcycle your textile waste

Make a pouch from textile waste. Construct a pouch from discarded luxury upholstery samples by hand...Learn one of the most useful hand-sewing stitches ever, the backstitch. Bring your kids along with work with them in a pair for this workshop.


Workshop 3 - Learn the basics of natural dye with Project Coal

Natural Dye workshop

Get your hands dirty with a workshop on natural dying by Project Coal and learn a traditional but efficient technique which could help you upcycle and create your own unique products.

During this workshop, participants will be introduced to the basics of natural dyeing, teaching them how to dye with things they can find at home, such as tea, using shibori methods (which is something like tie dyeing!). It will take 1 and half hour. Participants will get to bring home fabrics that they create during the workshop.


Workshop 4 - Jewellry making for the minimalist with KLACE

Tired of seeing mass produced accessories in malls? Are you looking for alternative choices?

Join us to learn how to hand-craft your very own accessories, using conventional materials and transforming it into beautiful wearable products.

"There is never a right way to make accessories," so why not come and challenge us with your ideas?


Workshop 5 - Sashiko a pouch with Mai Textile Studio

Learn a Japanese stitching technique and make something unique in this workshop.Participants will make a 16cm X 18cm unlined pouch (sashiko a small part), with needle and 2 DMC thread (which they can take home).
